Rhineland-Palatinate Hesse Lower Saxony Brandenburg Mecklenburg-West Pomerania Saxony-Anhalt Saxony Schleswig-Holstein Saarland Bavaria Baden-Württemberg County of Prignitz
The main features of business in the County are agriculture and agricultural product processing, small and medium-sized industry, and trades and crafts in the most varied branches as well as a wide tertiary sector. Its vicinity to the conurbations of Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Braunschweig, Potsdam, Magdeburg, Schwerin and Rostock opens up big markets and offers expanding companies good opportunities for economic co-operation.
The County of Prignitz sees its economic future in the establishment and development of industrial companies and in the extension of its wide range of healthy medium-sized businesses. It has a good potential of developed commercial areas and high rates of grants for trade and industry and for expanding the business-related infrastructure.

  Brandenburg

In terms of size, Brandenburg is one of the biggest states in the Federal Republic. Trips to this area are worthwhile any time of year: for canoeing on the numerous rivers and lakes in the spring, for spending a holiday on the beach by any of the over 3,000 lakes in the summer, for a cycling trip through woods and avenues of trees in autumn, or for a long walk and a relaxing bath in one of the new spas in winter, e.g. in Bad Saarow, Templin or Bad Wilsnack.

In addition, there are numerous castles, mediaeval towns and lots of museums to visit in any season. Afterwards hungry guests can take a meal at any of the numerous country inns offering regional specialities typical of Brandenburg cookery. The 13 regions worth visiting, ranging from Prignitz in the north to sunny Niederlausitz in the south, each present themselves with their own unmistakable charm.
